I am a passionate and enthusiastic Mathematics teacher currently based in Dubai, teaching IGCSE Mathematics. I believe every student has the ability to succeed with the right guidance, encouragement and support. My approach to tutoring focuses on building confidence, developing a strong understanding of mathematical concepts and helping students become independent learners. I aim to create a positive, supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, learning from mistakes and challenging themselves. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching to suit individual needs, abilities and learning styles. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades and exam performance, but also to develop a positive attitude towards Mathematics and the confidence to achieve their full potential

I hold a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics Education with Distinction and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), alongside a First-Class BA (Hons) degree in Professional Policing. I have teaching experience in both the UK and Dubai, including teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Mathematics, preparing students for GCSE examinations and currently teaching IGCSE Mathematics following the Edexcel specification. My experience includes lesson planning, assessment, differentiated instruction, exam preparation and supporting students with a range of abilities and additional learning needs. My background in professional policing has also strengthened my resilience, communication, professionalism and safeguarding awareness, which I bring into my teaching. I am fluent in English, Lithuanian and Russian and enjoy working with students from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds.
